This role is designed for a leader who can operate at scale, bridging infrastructure engineering with business-critical outcomes in a rapidly evolving technology landscape.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Lead the design, deployment, and lifecycle management of hybrid and multi-cloud infrastructure environments (AWS, Azure, GCP, and HPC systems).
- Oversee core infrastructure domains including compute, storage, networking, virtualization, and Kubernetes-based container platforms.
- Drive adoption of infrastructure-as-code (IaC) and automation frameworks (Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation).
- Architect and maintain high-availability and disaster recovery solutions across global environments.
- Implement and enforce security and compliance frameworks aligned with NIST, SOC 2, ISO 27001, and Zero Trust models.
- Optimize infrastructure cost, performance, and scalability using observability and performance monitoring tools.
- Lead transformation initiatives, including cloud migration, data center modernization, and edge infrastructure deployment.
- Manage strategic vendor partnerships across cloud providers and infrastructure vendors.
- Define and maintain SLAs, SLOs, and operational KPIs.
- Collaborate with engineering, DevOps, security, and product teams to align infrastructure with business priorities.
- Build and lead a distributed team of infrastructure engineers across multiple regions.
Job Qualifications and Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- 10–15+ years of experience in IT infrastructure, cloud engineering, or platform operations.
- Proven experience managing enterprise-scale cloud and hybrid infrastructure environments.
- Strong expertise in network architecture, virtualization, distributed systems, and storage platforms.
- Hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, and/or Google Cloud Platform.
- Deep knowledge of containerization and orchestration technologies (Kubernetes, Docker).
- Experience with automation, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices.
- Familiarity with compliance standards such as SOC 2, ISO 27001, HIPAA, or PCI-DSS.
- Experience with infrastructure financial planning and cost optimization.
- Demonstrated leadership in managing global technical teams.

Working Conditions

Compensation & Benefits
- Compensation Package: $210,000 – $315,000
