We are seeking a visionary Chief Learning Officer to architect enterprise-wide learning strategy, leadership development infrastructure, technical upskilling programs, and future-ready workforce capability frameworks, fully remote within the United States.
This is not a training oversight role. This is a long-horizon enterprise talent capability mandate.
Job Function
The Chief Learning Officer will define and execute a multi-year enterprise learning and development strategy aligned with digital transformation, AI advancement, leadership succession planning, and workforce scalability objectives.
This executive ensures the organization maintains competitive technical depth, leadership bench strength, and adaptive learning culture at scale.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Architect and implement an enterprise-wide learning strategy aligned with long-term growth
Develop executive leadership development and succession readiness programs
Oversee enterprise technical upskilling initiatives in AI, cloud, cybersecurity, and data engineering
Establish learning governance frameworks and ROI measurement standards
Lead digital learning platform modernization and content strategy
Implement workforce capability mapping and skills gap analysis
Strengthen internal mobility and career pathway frameworks
Develop high-potential acceleration programs
Align learning initiatives with enterprise performance and productivity goals
Guide compliance and regulatory training governance where applicable
Present workforce capability readiness updates to executive leadership and the Board
Lead distributed learning and development teams nationwide
Strategic Support
Advise the CEO and executive leadership on long-term workforce readiness
Support national expansion initiatives through disciplined capability planning
Contribute to post-acquisition talent integration and cultural alignment
Align learning strategy with enterprise innovation roadmap
Strengthen employer brand positioning through visible learning investments
Guide the digital transformation of enterprise knowledge management systems
Job Qualifications and Requirements
18+ years of progressive learning, talent development, or organizational leadership experience
8+ years in executive roles within technology, AI, consulting, or knowledge-intensive enterprises
Proven experience designing enterprise-scale leadership and technical development programs
Strong expertise in workforce capability analytics and performance alignment
Experience leading distributed national learning organizations
Demonstrated success in building future-ready workforce ecosystems
Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree in Organizational Development, Education, Business, or related field preferred

Compensation & Benefits
Total Executive Compensation Package: $310,000 – $420,000 USD
