The Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) will play a pivotal role in safeguarding our digital infrastructure, protecting client data, and ensuring compliance with global regulatory standards.
Reporting directly to the CEO and Board Risk Committee, the CISO will define and lead the enterprise cybersecurity strategy, overseeing all aspects of information security, risk management, and data protection. This role requires a visionary leader with deep technical expertise, regulatory knowledge, and the ability to align security initiatives with business growth and innovation.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Define and execute the enterprise-wide cybersecurity and information security strategy aligned with business objectives and regulatory requirements.
- Lead all aspects of security operations, including threat detection, incident response, vulnerability management, and risk mitigation.
- Establish and maintain robust security governance frameworks, policies, and controls across global operations.
- Oversee security architecture for cloud, on-premise, and hybrid environments, ensuring resilience and scalability.
- Partner with Technology, Product, and Infrastructure teams to embed security into system design and development processes (DevSecOps).
- Manage cybersecurity risk assessments, audits, and compliance with standards such as ISO, NIST, and SOC frameworks.
- Lead and develop a global information security team, fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for cybersecurity matters with executive leadership, board members, regulators, and external stakeholders.
Job Qualifications and Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field; Master’s or MBA preferred.
- 15+ years of progressive experience in cybersecurity, information security, or risk management, with at least 7 years in executive leadership roles.
- Proven track record of leading enterprise-wide security programs in financial services, fintech, or highly regulated industries.
- Deep expertise in cybersecurity frameworks, cloud security, data protection, and threat intelligence.
- Experience with regulatory compliance, including global financial regulations and security standards.
- Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CISA strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to manage large-scale security operations and respond to complex cyber threats.

- Support mergers, acquisitions, and partnerships with comprehensive security due diligence and integration planning.
Working Conditions
- Full-time executive role with hybrid flexibility based in New York, NY.
- High-visibility position requiring interaction with board members, regulators, and global stakeholders.
- Occasional domestic and international travel for regulatory engagement, security audits, and strategic initiatives.
- On-call availability for critical incident response and cybersecurity events.

Compensation & Benefits
- Base salary: $432,000 – $540,000 annually
