We are seeking a Chief Communications Officer (CCO) to lead global communications strategy and execution. Reporting directly to the CEO, this executive will oversee all aspects of corporate communications, public relations, investor communications, internal communications, crisis management, and brand reputation strategy.

The CCO will play a central role in shaping how the organization is perceived globally, ensuring that messaging is consistent, transparent, and aligned with corporate objectives across all stakeholder groups.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a comprehensive global communications strategy aligned with corporate objectives, growth initiatives, and brand positioning.

• Oversee all communications functions, including corporate communications, media relations, investor communications, and internal communications.

• Serve as a strategic advisor to the CEO and executive leadership on reputation management and stakeholder engagement.

• Lead media strategy, managing relationships with global financial media, journalists, and industry analysts.

• Oversee crisis communications and issues management, ensuring timely, transparent, and effective responses.

• Develop executive communication strategies, including speeches, presentations, and thought leadership initiatives.

• Ensure consistent messaging across all channels, including digital platforms, press releases, and corporate disclosures.

• Collaborate with investor relations teams to support earnings communications, shareholder engagement, and market disclosures.

• Drive internal communications strategies to enhance employee engagement and organizational alignment.

• Monitor media coverage, market sentiment, and industry trends to inform communication strategies.

• Lead brand reputation initiatives, ensuring alignment with corporate values and market expectations.

• Manage external communication partners, including PR agencies and strategic advisors.

• Establish and track KPIs related to communications effectiveness, brand perception, and stakeholder engagement.

• Provide executive-level reporting to the CEO and board on communications strategy and impact.


Job Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Business, or related field.

• Advanced degree (MBA or equivalent) strongly preferred.

• 15–20+ years of progressive experience in corporate communications, public relations, or executive communications leadership.

• Proven experience within financial services, fintech, or highly regulated industries.

• Strong expertise in media relations, crisis communications, and investor communications.

• Experience managing global communications strategies across multiple regions.

• Exceptional writing and storytelling capabilities with experience crafting executive-level messaging.

• Deep understanding of regulatory and compliance considerations in financial communications.

• Experience working closely with executive leadership and presenting to board-level stakeholders.

• Demonstrated success in leading and scaling global communications teams.

Compensation & Benefits

Total Compensation Package: $420,000 – $560,000
