The Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) is a key member of the executive leadership team responsible for shaping and executing the organization’s global commercial strategy. This leader will oversee sales, partnerships, customer growth, and commercial operations to ensure consistent revenue expansion and strong market positioning.

This is not simply a sales leadership position. It is a strategic growth mandate responsible for building a high-performance commercial organization, expanding market share, and strengthening enterprise relationships across global markets.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Define and execute the company’s global commercial and go-to-market strategy.

  • Lead revenue-generating functions including Sales, Business Development, Partnerships, and Customer Growth.

  • Drive enterprise account expansion and global market penetration initiatives.

  • Establish scalable revenue frameworks and performance metrics.

  • Oversee commercial forecasting, pipeline management, and growth analytics.

  • Lead complex enterprise deal negotiations and strategic partnership agreements.

  • Collaborate with Product and Marketing leadership to refine positioning and market strategy.

  • Build and mentor high-performing commercial leadership teams.

  • Strengthen cross-functional alignment between revenue teams and operational units.

  • Present commercial performance insights and growth strategies to executive leadership and board stakeholders.


Job Qualifications and Requirements

  • 15+ years of progressive leadership experience in commercial strategy, enterprise sales, or revenue leadership roles.

  • Demonstrated success scaling revenue in SaaS, technology, or digital platform organizations.

  • Proven ability to lead global commercial organizations across multiple regions.

  • Strong background in enterprise sales cycles and large strategic deals.

  • Experience aligning product strategy with go-to-market execution.

  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or advanced business degree preferred.

  • Experience working directly with executive leadership and board committees.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Base Salary: $315,000 – $365,000

  • Executive annual performance bonus
