We are seeking a results-driven Business Development Manager to lead strategic market expansion initiatives, develop high-value enterprise relationships, and support long-term commercial growth across global markets.

This is not a traditional sales role. This position is responsible for identifying new strategic opportunities, building long-term partnerships, and driving enterprise-level business growth.


Job Function

The Business Development Manager will lead initiatives to identify new market opportunities, establish strategic partnerships, and develop enterprise client relationships that contribute to long-term revenue growth.

This role works closely with product, marketing, and executive leadership teams to align commercial strategy with organizational growth objectives.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities across enterprise markets and emerging industry segments.

  • Build and manage long-term relationships with enterprise clients, strategic partners, and industry stakeholders.

  • Develop and execute business development strategies aligned with the organization’s growth objectives.

  • Lead strategic outreach initiatives targeting high-value enterprise customers and partners.

  • Conduct market analysis to identify emerging trends, competitive dynamics, and expansion opportunities.

  • Collaborate with marketing and product teams to align market positioning with customer needs.

  • Prepare and deliver executive-level presentations, proposals, and partnership strategies.

  • Manage complex deal negotiations and contract discussions with enterprise clients.

  • Maintain and expand a strong pipeline of strategic opportunities and partnership initiatives.

  • Support the development of joint go-to-market strategies with strategic partners.

  • Track performance metrics including pipeline growth, deal conversion rates, and revenue contributions.

  • Participate in industry events, conferences, and executive networking initiatives to strengthen market presence.

  • Provide strategic insights to leadership regarding customer needs and market developments.


Strategic Support

  • Support the Vice President of Global Business Development in executing long-term commercial growth strategies.

  • Contribute to strategic planning initiatives by identifying emerging markets and partnership opportunities.

  • Assist with corporate development initiatives involving partnerships, alliances, and market entry strategies.

  • Support product innovation by communicating market feedback and customer insights to internal teams.

  • Strengthen the organization’s competitive positioning through strategic alliances and market expansion initiatives.

  • Assist leadership in evaluating new opportunities for geographic or industry expansion.


Job Qualifications and Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in business development, strategic partnerships, or enterprise sales.

  • Experience working within technology, enterprise SaaS, artificial intelligence, cloud infrastructure, or digital services industries.

  • Demonstrated success in developing and closing complex enterprise-level deals.

  • Strong experience managing long-term strategic client relationships.

  • Ability to analyze market trends and identify strategic business opportunities.

  • Experience negotiating complex commercial agreements and partnership contracts.

  • Strong presentation and communication skills with the ability to influence senior decision-makers.

  • Bachelor’s degree required in Business, Marketing, Economics, or related field; MBA strongly preferred.

Compensation & Benefits

Total Compensation Package: $255,000 – $387,000 USD
