The Director of Project Management is a senior leadership role responsible for overseeing the project management function across the organization. This position establishes delivery standards, governs execution across a broad portfolio, and ensures that strategic initiatives are translated into measurable outcomes. The role works closely with executive leadership to align priorities, manage delivery risk, and scale project capabilities as the organization grows.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Lead and oversee the enterprise project management function, including governance, standards, and delivery frameworks.
Manage a portfolio of strategic, operational, and transformation initiatives across multiple business units.
Translate enterprise strategy into executable project roadmaps, milestones, and delivery plans.
Establish and monitor KPIs related to schedule, cost, quality, risk, and value realization.
Partner with executive stakeholders to prioritize initiatives and align resources with business objectives.
Identify, assess, and mitigate project and program risks, dependencies, and delivery constraints.
Drive continuous improvement in project methodologies, tools, and reporting practices.
Ensure consistent communication, escalation, and stakeholder alignment across initiatives.
Lead, mentor, and develop project managers and program leaders.
Provide executive-level reporting on portfolio health, performance trends, and outcomes.
Job Qualifications and Requirements
12+ years of experience in project management, program management, or delivery leadership roles.
Proven experience leading enterprise-scale projects and cross-functional delivery teams.
Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid).
Experience managing portfolios that include technology, operations, and transformation initiatives.
Demonstrated ability to influence senior leaders and executive stakeholders.
Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree or PMP/PGM certification preferred.
Strong financial, planning, and risk-management acumen.

Compensation & Benefits
Base Salary: $325,000 – $385,000
